It started the way a lot of great things do — a breakup, some designer bags, and a lightbulb moment. Kimber Reed noticed how fast pre-loved luxury sells when it's in excellent condition, and saw a gap: these bags deserved better care before they changed hands.
With a passion for beautification and background in home restoration, Kimber began buying, restoring, and reselling Louis Vuitton bags from her garage. Self taught through many long hours and mistakes until she got it right.
It all changed when she started adding chains to designer wallets — turning them into crossbody bags — the Bag Envy signature was born. Buyers lined up to have the opportunity to own a Bag Envy piece and start their own attainable luxury collection. Within five years, Bag Envy grew from a one woman operation in a garage to a backyard studio and now a brick-and-mortar store with the perfect team, located at 2124 E. 6th Street in Austin, TX.

A restored bag has been cleaned, reconditioned, and returned to excellent or near-new condition by our team. This may include leather treatment, hardware cleaning, gold plating, and/or color restoration on an as-needed basis.
